Here's an earthier Nero D'Avola, with hay, cherry and black tea aromas and flavors and no sweet notes. Fairly rich in body with medium tannin. A great sipper, or drink with tomato-based meat/pasta dishes. And the label? It seems the queen and 100 horsemen once took shelter under an ancient chestnut tree.
