Pommard is usually considered big and burly, but this one breaks the mold with its intensely floral perfume and bright red currant and cherry flavors. It does have mid-full body and light vanilla notes (12-14 months in 50% new oak) and a complexity influenced by 65-year-old vines. Fruity but drinking well now. Savor the endless cherry blossom finish.
