Named for the moulin or windmill that sits on the hill, Moulin-a-Vent is a serious Beaujolais and one of the fuller-bodied and structured crus (as opposed to the floral, delicate Fleurie, for example). This is made without carbonic (no tutti-frutti flavor) and has lovely Gamay cherry-spice flavors. Medium body and tannin. Serve with any pork, sausages, chicken.
