The Vermentino, planted in 1950, is located on the steep hills ending at the base of the hill, facing Southwest. It is trained in spur cordons, ‘cortina semplice’, or guyot on rocky clay alluvial soil. The wine is fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, with occasional stirring of the lees. It is unfined, and undergoes a light filtering before bottling. very smooth and light body, definitely lots of herbs note.
