A single varietal (100 percent) Tempranillo. Its grapes are from Cenicero. They are destemmed and pressed with new fermentation control technology and long maceration periods.
The 24 to 30-month ageing period in American oak barrels is done by following the right racking procedures. A minimum bottling period of 12 months is necessary before the wine is put on the market. Monte Real Reserva 2013 is a concentrated red wine. In this great vintage, the black fruit is somewhat present with prevailing aromas given by its time spent in the barrel.
